Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 TBSP vanilla
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Approx 5 minutes.
- Slowly, add in eggs, yolks and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Approx another 3 minutes.
- Gradually, add in flour. Beat on low, just until fully combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cake cool for 20-30 minutes before removing from pan.
